Breeder quality 16-18mth old Santa Gertrudis heifers sell for $1800/head

953 head were yarded at Toogoolawah Store Sale Friday the 8th of May with quality feeder and weaner steers selling to very firm rates. A top quality line of heifers came to hand with Santa heifers 18mths selling to $1800 and Charbray heifers 16mths selling from $1450 to $1600. Lighter and lesser quality weaner steers and heifers were slightly easier.
