Charolais X Weaner Steers to $1240/head at Toogoolawah
Shepherdson and Boyd reported a yarding of 1285 head of cattle this week with feeder steers selling fully firm on last week’s strong rates. The quality lines of backgrounder steers sold to a dearer market with strong local and western competition. Quality pens of trade feeder heifers remained firm whilst backgrounder heifers continued to ease. All secondary lines of cattle are selling to an easier market with supply increasing and restockers chasing quality lines of backgrounders.
