Four Tooth Brangus Steers Sell to $3040/head
Welcomed rain over large parts of Queensland and New South Wales in the last week has drove the cattle market to new highs as records continue to be broken. Cattle were sourced from Westmar, Eidsvold, Manumbar, Beaudesert, Conondale, Linville, Coominya, and all local areas. Strong demand from western and southern buyers with increased local interest saw strong competition for all descriptions.
Geoffrey Cowan of Emu Creek sold pens of four tooth Brangus Bullocks bred by Darcy Pratten of Kilcoy for $3040, $3000 & $2900. K & S Spierling sold Santa feeder steers for $2220 & $2210 per head. Ninbah Pastoral of Beaudesert sold a quality line of trade Speckle Park x feeder steers for $2120, $2100 & $2060 per head. Tim Bourke of Derrymore sold Charolais weaner steers 12 months old for $1980 a head. Barnes Grazing of Anduramba sold a quality pen of 12-month-old Santa x steers for $1990.
