Toogoolawah July Weaner Sale
Shepherdson and Boyd reported a yarding of 2558 weaners for their July weaner sale. Buyers travelled from Central and Western Queensland, The Darling Downs, Northern New South Wales, and Victoria, along with local competition to secure some of the last of the quality Brisbane Valley bred weaners. The quality lines of weaners sold fully firm to a fraction dearer on the current market trends, whilst the lesser quality and lighter weight weaners remained tough.
