Charbray Cows & Calves Sell to $2625/unit at Toogoolawah
Shepherdson and Boyd reported a yarding of 1420 head for their fortnightly store sale. An outstanding line of Charbray cows and calves were the highlight of the day topping at $2625/unit to average $2600/unit. The feeder market eased slightly in comparison to the previous sale. Backgrounder cattle are still in strong demand and selling to a strong panel of buyers, however showed signs of easing in line with the feeder and fat job. An outstanding quality run of Charbray Cows & Calves account Riverside Cattle Co of Conondale sold to a top of $2625/unit to average $2600/unit.
